Gynecological ultrasound, Treatment of couple infertility
Dr. Anca Coricovac is the Medical Director of the Gynera Clinic, primary obstetrics-gynecology physician, IVF specialist, University Lecturer in Embryology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila", Doctor of Medical Sciences and Senior Embryologist with European accreditation (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology).
She currently coordinates the medical activity of Gynera Clinic, as Medical Director and specialist with vast experience, after many years of perfecting advanced medical techniques, providing consultations, surgeries and procedures of assisted reproduction and in vitro fertilization.
With more than 16 years of experience in the sphere of couple fertility as well as embryology, she has been included in national and international working groups on research and statistical studies. She has participated in numerous national and international scientific meetings, presented and published, as author or co-author, scientific papers in specialized journals.
As a lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila", she has trained numerous specialists and has been a member of examination boards for infertility treatment, providing training and medical education for young gynecological specialists in this field.
For more than 10 years, as well as at present, she continues to lead the Gynera team of embryologists, focusing her interest on understanding as accurately as possible the earliest stages of embryonic and fetal development, the causes of infertility, and oocyte and sperm defects. Together with Gynera's team of embryologists, she has participated in solving difficult infertility cases, resulting in the birth of more than 3,000 children conceived by complex and innovative assisted reproduction and sperm micromanipulation technologies.
Dr. Coricovac holds the degree of Doctor of Medicine, her PhD. thesis "Impact of predictive factors on success rates in assisted human reproduction" has been recognized as a best practice guide in assisted human reproduction procedures.
Dr. Coricovac is Vice President of the Romanian Society for Fertility and Assisted Reproduction Association and member of several professional societies in the field of assisted reproduction, including the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
