Gynecological ultrasound, Treatment of couple infertility
Dr. Anca Coricovac is Gynera's Scientific Director, a senior obstetrics and gynecology physician, IVF and Assisted Human Reproduction Specialist at Gynera Clinic; University Lecturer in Embryology (Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy), Doctor of Medicine, ESHRE-accredited senior embryologist, with nearly two decades of clinical experience in infertility.
She has been part of Gynera Clinic’s leadership team as Medical Director for the past 3 years and previously served for 10 years as Head of the IVF Laboratory, coordinating medical teams and building one of the most high-performing embryology teams in the country, integrating clinical decisions with laboratory standards. Through this approach, she has contributed to the birth of over 3,000 children using modern and innovative assisted reproduction and micromanipulation technologies, including solving complex cases through personalized strategies, directly participating in the creation of these children.
Currently, she clinically oversees the journey of infertility patients, after many years of refining advanced medical techniques, providing consultations, gynecological interventions, and assisted reproduction/IVF procedures. Her approach focuses on comprehensive couple diagnosis, male infertility (including complex cases, testicular biopsy/TESE, Micro-TESE), IVF/ICSI, PGT, management of implantation failures and recurrent pregnancy loss, fertility preservation, and personalized treatments aimed at achieving results (pregnancy and birth).
With nearly 20 years of experience in reproductive medicine (clinical and IVF), she has been involved in national and international working groups for research and statistical analysis and has participated in numerous scientific meetings, presenting and publishing, as author or co-author, papers in specialized journals.
As a lecturer at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, she has trained numerous specialists and served on examination boards for infertility treatment, providing training and guidance for young obstetrician-gynecologists in reproductive medicine.
She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree; her thesis, “Impact of Predictive Factors on Success Rates in Assisted Human Reproduction”, is recognized as good practice in ART procedures.
She is Vice President of the Romanian Society for Fertility and Assisted Reproduction and a member of several professional societies in the field of assisted reproduction, including ESHRE.
